Get detailed instructions for safely returning your solar trailer.
- Flip the breakers in the trailer trunk to the off position, then unplug the ethernet cord to power off the system.
- Unlock the mast locking pin using the keys from the lockbox. Remove the pin to return the mast to its stow position.
- Turn the mast crank counterclockwise to lower the mast.
- Pull the panel pin to release the solar panel and lower to its travel position.
- Using the provided mast wrench, loosen but do not remove the mast rotation locking bolts. Using the mast rotation bar, turn the solar panel to be parallel with the tires.
- Remove the camera from the mounting plate by loosening the push bolts. Lift up the camera's mount to release it from the insert tabs. Return the camera to the camera trunk for returns or relocations. Do not remove the mounting plate from the camera.
- Using the jack cranks, lower the unit until its weight is distributed onto the tires for travel.
- Remove the cotter pins on each leg of the mast. Push the jack legs down to the travel position, then lock in place with the cotter pin.
- Place the camera in the camera trunk then send a photo of the system to OxBlue Client Support at support@oxblue.com. This is to protect you in the event the equipment is damaged during shipping.
- Ship back via local service or contact OxBlue to arrange for collection.
